This song means so much to me. Good Charlotte is not just a punk band. One night I couldn't sleep, so I started listening to this song. I heard something clang in the kitchen, a gas pipe had broken. There was already a fire in the kitchen but my family and I managed to get out. Good Charlotte (The members) are my heroes. They have been my favorite band my whole life. If it weren't for this song, I wouldn't be here today.

this song is so sad... when i heard joel sing if we could make it through tonight we'll see the sun... i started crying... it is such a sad song... telling us that we can't give up, we have to keep going... i think it goes back to the old scars from growing up the good charlotte people had... all their songs are so full of message and emotion... don't ever stop singing good charlotte... all the people who only see the punk band are wrong, the people who think its just a tattooed pair of brothers with a goth and two other guys... they are so wrong... you guys have so much emotion. don't ever stop singing...
