Maroon 5

Formed in 2000, Maroon 5 is a Grammy Award-winning pop band based at Los Angeles, California. Even their debut album �Songs about Jane� released in June, 2000 fetched several awards. The album met with major chart successes, going Gold, Platinum, and even Triple Platinum across the world, in many countries. They followed it up with acoustic album �1.22.03.Acoustic�, which also reached platinum status. The album comprises unplugged versions of �Songs about Jane�. Songs about Jane, was a result of the inspiration derived from Levine's tumultuous affair with his ex-girlfriend, Jane.
