Oh, and I LOVE HHH!! (Hands Held High)
Linkin Park makes awesome music. Plus Blind Guardian666 (or what) they started to write their lyrics on 2008, I wouldn't say those lyrics are hastily done. I love the lyrics. Even how worse their album is, there's still gonna be an awesome rcok/hip-hop/rap etc. music. I've heard many times "their new album sucks!!!".. :/

ok, lets straighten BG666 out. You obviously dont pay attn. They are Nu-Metal in HT, and are also cl****ified as rap-rock, alt. metal, and Alternative from the last album. Given Up is nu, with No More Sorrow. Bleed It Out and Hands Held High are rap/rock.

Okay, first of all, let me clarify that Linkin Park isn't rock. They consider themselves alternative rock, which is a more vague genre, and originally they were classified as nu metal because of their rapping. Also, they are not the best band ever, that's a plain lie. They are pretty talented, but their new album disappointed me. The songs are scratchy and hastily written, and sounds like a rough draft album. Some of the songs such as "Valentine's Day" are variantly cheesy as far as the lyrics. Also, Linkin Park's guitar riffs are acoustic-based riffs, but some of the songs here branch out to something that really isn't Linkin Park. The music itself is definitely just as talented, and Chester Bennington's scream is as badass as ever (the one thing on the album that stayed pretty steady) on the song Given Up, he hits a pitch and holds it for longer and more intensity than he's ever shown. His singing in the band is certainly getting better. The drumming in this album is complex, but everything else is simple, especially the lyrics. So the album itself is a disappointment.

this album was a disappointment, #1, #2, Linkin Park isn't rock, alright, go listen to Ozzy Ozbourne, Led Zep, Aerosmith, Boston, Pink Flloyd, ect., then tell me LP is rock. Wrong, they're punk. and this album was so damn different, but it sucked so much, they tried too much to do rap, and it didn't quite work out, and the screaming sucked
