Motörhead, the Misfits Tapped For Volcom Tour

Motörhead has been selected as the headliner of 2008's Volcom Tour, with supporting sets coming from the Misfits, Airbourne, Valient Thorr and Year Long Disaster. The brief trek gets going on September 2 in Anaheim, CA, and winds down on September 21 in Ashbury Park, NJ.Motörhead's new album, Motorizer, comes out on August 26 through SPV. They haven't .....

Lemmy Kilmister, Motörhead's longtime frontman and a major N.W.O.B.H.M. (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) icon, will soon be spotlighted in a documentary tentatively titled Lemmy. Live Nation has confirmed the first-ever "Metal Masters" tour, featuring headliners Judas Priest and support slot sets from Motörhead, Testament and the Ozzy-less, Ronnie James Dio-helmed Heaven & Hell. We're pretty big Beatles fans here at ARTISTdirect, so when a copy of Butchering the Beatles: A Headbashing Tribute found its way into our offices, we were inclined to receive it like a flea-ridden stray cat.
