Neil Young awarded 2010 MusiCares person of the year

Neil Young, 63, was named 2010 MusiCares person of the year.
The legendary muso was honoured for his "standard of artistic integrity and iconoclastic creativity for more than four decades", said Neil Portnow, president of the MusiCares Foundation and The Recording Academy.
A dinner and concert will be held to pay tribute to Young in Los Angeles. Young's unforgettable hit songs include Heart Of Gold and Rockin' In The Free World.
MusiCares is an industry charity which last year named Neil Diamond as its person of the year and has also awarded soul legend Aretha Franklin in the past. Young's award marks the charity's 20th. .....
