N*E*R*D

N.E.R.D is a US-based band who plays a mixture of funk, rock, and hip-hop music. Chad Hugo (born February 24, 1974) and Pharrell Williams (born April 15, 1973), the band’s first two members started as The Neptunes, a production duo signed to Virgin Records. They produced tracks for various artists during the latter part of the 90s up to the early 2000s. Williams and Hugo eventually decided to form a new band together with Shay Haley (birth date undisclosed) in 2001. Williams served as N.
