Alright y'all, it's time to take a break from all that sunshine and beach time & get your thinking caps on: what song have you been blasting now that summer's here? We know that it just started, but hey — we've already come up with five songs we have on repeat that remind us of sunny days, so why not try and crown the winner? Last year's champion was Carly Rae Jepsen with her infectious hit "Call Me Maybe", naturally, but who will take the top spot for 2013's Song Of The Summer? We'll be running the poll for a week, so get those votes in, and if you don't agree with any of the songs we have listed, then suggest your own in the comments! Here are the contenders:

Daft Punk — "Get Lucky" (ft. Pharrell Williams)

Like the legend of the phoenix, all great artists will rise again. That being said, Daft Punk's return to music was a smash this year, with the release of their new critically-acclaimed record Random Access Memories and the album's single "Get Lucky". The song's been burning up the charts ever since it was released back in the spring, and honestly, the more times we hear it, we love it more and more.

Miley Cyrus — "We Can't Stop"

There's an artist on everybody's lips right now by the name of Miley Cyrus, and whether you love her or hate her, she's one of the biggest stars on the planet and has totally revamped her look. Cutting her trademark brown locks off and going bleach-blonde, plus making herself into one of fashion's rising muses, Miley has finally come into her own, and expresses that with "We Can't Stop". We can't stop playing the catchy party tune!

Robin Thicke — "Blurred Lines" (ft. Pharrell Williams and T.I.)

Everybody get up and dance to Robin Thick ft. Pharrell and T.I.'s moveable single "Blurred Lines"! As soon as we first heard this dancefloor anthem, we knew it was going to be one of our most-played songs of 2013, and what represents summer better than getting your groove on without a care in the world?

Avril Lavigne — "Here's To Never Growing Up"

There's just no denying that Avril Lavigne knows how to pen a track that gets everybody pumping their fist. "Here's To Never Growing Up" is, of course, all about staying young forever, and summertime is always following that theme. It's almost like Avril wrote HTNGU specifically FOR summer: maybe she wanted to take the Metrolyrics 2013 Song Of The Summer?

Bruno Mars — "Treasure"

This could be one of Bruno Mars's best songs to date, with groovy guitars, funky bass riffs and Bruno pulling his best and brightest disco-tinged vocals. We can easily imagine ourselves blasting this jam as we drive through the summer-soaked streets: it's truly a "treasure" of a tune!
