The countdown to the 56th annual GRAMMY awards is in its final week: that's right, this Sunday, Music's Biggest night is going down! And what could make the highly-anticipated awards show even bigger than it's already scheduled to be? Why, an appearance by Jay Z and Beyonce, of course!
Jay Z has officially been confirmed to perform at the live event, but whispers of Mrs. Carter's rumored slot still has to be given the thumbs-up from GRAMMY bigwigs. However, all signs are pointing to YES for Bey's appearance at the GRAMMYs, seeing as nobody has denied the superstar showing up as of yet. Therefore, we're counting down the best duets by hip-hop's dominating couple (that we hope they play!), starting with number three:
3. Crazy In Love
Can you believe that this song is over 10 years old now? Recorded right around the time Beyonce & Jay Z started seeing each other, the duo has been "Crazy In Love" ever since, and it's been able to stand the test of time as one of our favorite R&B singles of all time.
2. Part II (On The Run)
Who wants that perfect love story anyway? Taken from Jay Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail, this track is a continuation of Bey & Jay's anthem (and first duet together) "'03 Bonnie & Clyde", so we wouldn't be surprised if the pair showed up together on stage at the GRAMMYs and whipped this one out.
1. Drunk In Love
It's one of the hottest songs (not to mention videos!) right now, straight off Beyonce's self-titled surprise fifth album, making the possibility of this song live at the GRAMMYs very high indeed. Although, the song itself is pretty NSFW -- we wonder if the potential performance could be too steamy for TV? Only time will tell!
