With Fiona Apple's new album The Idler Wheel... officially on the shelves, everybody's talking about the artist's long-awaited return into mainstream music. So to celebrate, we decided to search through the archives of Fiona's past melancholy folk-pop hits and find a Misheard Lyric of the Week by the singer/songwriter. We settled on one of her older hits, "Paper Bag", from her second album When The Pawn Hits because it was just too LOL-worthy not to post:

The Misheard Lyric:

"I thought it was a burp, but it was just a paper bag"

The Real Lyric:

"I thought it was a bird, but it was just a paper bag"

Do you have a hilarious misheard lyric that you'd like to share with us?
