Five Songs From Albums That Drop October 9th

Ever since a bunch of awesome pop records came out this past September 18th, they totally opened the floodgates for the dozens of new releases set to drop in fall 2012. Now, we're featuring a new crop of albums that are itching to be released in a few days: all five of these songs that we pulled are from albums scheduled to hit shelves (and iTunes) this Tuesday, October 9th. So, what are you waiting for? Turn up your speakers and blast these songs from albums that drop on Oct. 9th...

5. Kiss — Hell Or Hallelujah

"Hell or hallelujah! / No matter what you do / I'm running through ya / Yeah!"

That's right, ladies and gentlemen: Kiss is back, and they're feeling like a Monster! The legendary shock rockers are set to release their 20th studio album (if you can believe it) this upcoming Tuesday, so get ready to rock...

4. A Fine Frenzy — Now Is The Start

"It's the sound of the lost gone found / It's the sound of a mute gone loud / It's the sound of a new start"

After A Fine Frenzy's Ali Sudol shared her My Musical Mind and handwritten lyrics with us, we're counting down the days until we can hear her latest album Pines. Can you wait to hear the singer/songwriter's woodsy new record?

3. The Wallflowers — Reboot The Mission

"I lost my sight / But not the vision / Eyes on the prize / Reboot the mission"

The Wallflowers are back with their first album in four years, Glad All Over, and fans of the 90s alt-rock veterans will be happy to know the band hasn't lost their groovy sound. Did you catch them on Live on Letterman?

2. Ellie Goulding — I Know You Care

"I see it in the way that you stare / As if there was trouble ahead, and you knew it / I'll be saving myself from the ruin / And I know you care"

After watching Ellie Goulding's tear-jeaker of a video for "I Know You Care", we can't wait to hear the full album Halcyon from the UK pop singer/songwriter. People are still obsessed with her song "Lights" from her 2010 album of the same name: she needs to have another huge radio hit!

1. The Script — Hall Of Fame (ft.

"And the world's gonna know your name / Cause you burn with the brightest flame / And the world's gonna know your name / And you'll be on the walls of the hall of fame"

Pulling a Beyonce and naming their third album #3, Irish rock band The Script are one of the most popular bands around when it comes to songwriting (their lyric line "I'm still alive but I'm barely breathing" is a fan favorite!). We're sure their third record (featuring from The Black Eyed Peas!) will be the album that makes them a household name!
