The first line of Barenaked Ladies new song "Boomerang" goes like this: "Moving at the speed of sound / You think I'd be slowing down / But I'm not losing my momentum." It's a fitting lyric for a band who's been making music for going on 25 years. "Boomerang" is a song about persistance — an essential trait for a band prepping their 12th full-length album(!) for release on June 4th.

MetroLyrics is excited to premiere the official lyric video for "Boomerang." In the video, lyrics to the new song plastered all over an urban landscape — on buildings, roads, sidewalks, and virtually everywhere else you can imagine. From the looks of things, it's a tribute to the city of Toronto, the home-base of this Canadian quartet.
