New Zealand-born, Australia-raised pop/rapper Kelsy Karter first got her start in music by covering songs like Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away" and Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River" on YouTube. Upon graduating high school, Karter made the big move to Los Angeles to try and make a name for herself, and is now working with some of the best songwriters in the biz for her forthcoming album. The record's first single, "Ghost Town", is best described by Kelsy herself:
"'Ghost Town' is a pop song about love that touches on the question of insanity. The lyrics are quite poetic and contain metaphors that give the song a lot of depth."
