Miley Cyrus Rides A "Wrecking Ball" In New Music Video

She takes her "Wrecking Ball" lyrics literally in her latest music vid...

With Miley Cyrus's comeback album Bangerz due out in less than a month, the buzzworthy diva has dropped her latest music video for "Wrecking Ball", directed by celebrity photographer Terry Richardson. Taking the theme of "Wrecking Ball" quite literally, Cyrus stands in a room that is slowly being destructed, and ever the shocker, tries to ruffle a few feathers by wearing nothing at all whilst atop the popular construction tool.

To be frank, Terry Richardson kind of creeps us out (imagine him directing Miley while she's atop the wrecking ball sans clothing? *shudders*), plus the close-up shots of the singer crying just reminds us of Sinead O'Conner's "Nothing Compares 2 U" music video (even the short hair!). But we love the song: the lyrics I came in like a wrecking ball / I never hit so hard in love / All I wanted was to break your walls / All you ever did was break me, we can't help but belt along.

We still have high hopes for Miley's forthcoming record, though. Watch the music video for "Wrecking Ball" on VEVO above and let us know what you think of it in the comments...
