Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa's tag team High School Tour, in support of upcoming film (and soundtrack) Mac & Devin Go To High School, ignited last night at New York's Terminal 5. Also, while in the Empire State, the duo found time to drop by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to perform "Young, Wild, & Free", an already massive hit from the movie's soundtrack.

The film sees Snoop (age 40) and Wiz go back to high school, with the Doggfather portraying a 15-year-old senior, and Wiz as the valedictorian. We couldn't think of a more drastic on screen transformation (well, MAYBE Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs, or Mike Meyers' Austin Powers) so we're sensing the Oscar buzz already.

Both the film and soundtrack are due out in just under a week, on December 13th, which coincides with the tour's last date. So in honor of this totally random but admittedly adorable and endearing project, we thought we'd dedicate our Misheard Lyric of the Week to Snoop Doggy Dogg himself from another one of his collabs, "Drop It Like It's Hot":
Drop it like it's hot / Drop it like it's hot / Drop it like it's hot

Which is sometimes misheard as...
Droppin' my guitar / Droppin' my guitar / Droppin' my guitar

Pretty sure Snoop Dogg going rock and roll would be an even bigger transformation than him playing a 15-year-old. Just sayin'.
