New Album: The Decemberists Release Live Double LP

First of all, we'd like to take a little bow if we introduced The Decemberists to you through our unknown Grammy nominees post back in February. *takes bow* The Portland, Oregon natives have been playing their sea-tinged folk-rock for twelve years now, so what better time to release a twenty-song live double album that highlights the band's entire catalogue? What an awesome treat for Decemberists fans!

Available today, our friends at Street Date covered the release of We All Raise Our Voices to the Air, recorded not just in one theatre but at multiple tour locations over the US. The songs were recorded at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Stubb's in Austin, Marymoor Amphitheatre in Seattle, and the tour-closing pair of shows at McMenamins Edgefield Amphitheatre in Portland, just to name a few.
