Lola Blanc, a former touring ventriloquist-turned-songwriter and Britney Spears collaborator (she penned "Ooh La La" off the Smurfs 2 soundtrack) has released her debut single, "Bad Tattoo." It's a song about someone getting under your skin, but not in the traditional annoying sense. This is about being with someone who you know might not be the best for you but you just can't seem to shake - kinda like a bad tattoo.
Unconventional from the beginning, Lola Blanc grew up touring the country with her beauty queen/puppeteer mother and magician brother - all the while pursuing her passion for music by writing songs. The LA based singer-songwriter looks poised to take off in a big way. Thanks to its infectious chorus and high energy beat, "Bad Tattoo" might just be the launching pad.
MetroLyrics has the exclusive premiere of the song's lyric video. Watch it below and be sure to keep a watch out for Lola Blanc in the months to come.
"Bad Tattoo" is available now on iTunes.
