Legendary actor, singer, dancer, and musician Mickey Rooney passed away at 93 years old this past Sunday, April 6th, and believe it or not, his career in show business lasted 10 amazing decades. As one of the world's first silent-film stars, Rooney was around from the beginning of the entertainment industry, so his legacy will live on long after his passing. But once movies with audio began to pop up, Rooney showcased his triple-threat abilities by staring in musical after musical, so we're remembering the talented multi-tasker by highlighting these three memorable performances by Mickey Rooney. RIP to the on-screen legend!

"Let's Call The Whole Thing Off" (duet with wife Jan)

Taken from a late night show about eight years ago, this rare clip shows Rooney and his then-wife Jan performing a sweet duet together, from the movie Shall We Dance starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers (friends of Rooney's, naturally). They whip out a wonderfully charismatic performance of "Let's Call The Whole Thing Off", and even though Rooney's well into his eighties, he still proves he knows how to entertain a crowd or two.

"Put One Foot In Front Of The Other" (from Santa Claus is Comin' To Town)

As one of the classic animated Christmas films that airs year after year after year, one of our favorite roles that Rooney partook in was Kris Kringle himself in Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town. This cut from the flick, "Put One Foot In Front Of The Other", is a message of positivity that speaks true to the performer's childlike sprit that stuck with him his entire career.

"Good Morning" (from Babes In Arms with Judy Garland)

The pairing of Rooney and Old Hollywood legend Judy Garland was a huge one back in the day -- the two became great friends and it totally shows on-screen -- so it's no surprise that we love their rendition of "Good Morning" from the film Babes In Arms. So charming!
