Teen Queens Go Hip-Hop: Their Best Moments

Has anybody else noticed all the pop princesses covering hip hop songs lately? It's been a big year for rap, with giants Jay-Z and Kanye releasing Watch The Throne, Nicki Minaj's 'Super Bass' blowing up, and the release of Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV and Drake's Take Care so it's no wonder that these gals are hip-hop fans. I'm talking about the Taylors, the Selenas, the Demis — they have all recently had their hip-hop moments in the spotlight. Let's look at their best ones:

4. JoJo covering Drake's 'Marvin's Room'

JoJo has an amazing voice that lends this cover lots of feeling. Drake has said he doesn't like listening to covers of 'Marvin's Room' because it's so personal to him but Jojo changes up the lyrics a bit to make this her own. Example:
F*ck that new girl that you like so bad / she's not crazy like me / I bet you like that

3. Demi Lovato rapping Nicki Minaj's 'Monster' verse and Kreayshawn

Could this be the cutest video ever? In it, Demi vibes with the DJ's at Y100 radio to Nikki Minaj's epic verse in 'Monster' and then moves on to Kreayshawn's 'Gucci Gucci' of which she knows ALL the lyrics. Perfect! Honorable mention: Demi also covered Lil Wayne's 'How To Love' at a concert recently and sounded amazing.

2. Selena Gomez going hard for MTV EMA's promo

She may look sweet but girl can rap with attitude! In this promo for the 2011 MTV Europe Music awards (which she hosted) her alter ego appears and proclaims herself the "Hostess with the Mostest" and a "pro" among other things. Honorable mention: her famous dressing-room cover of Super Bass!

1. Taylor Swift covering Nicki Minaj's 'Super Bass'

It's one thing to be a fan, but if you're Taylor Swift, being a fan of somebody's music can help their single climb 80 whole spots on the charts! That's what happened when Swifty started proclaiming her love for Nicki Minaj's 'Super Bass' at concerts, in radio interviews, and on Youtube. Nicki even took notice and appeared on stage with Taylor at one of her shows! She even thanked Taylor for her hand in the hit-making at the Billboard Women in Music awards last week.
