If you thought all of the madness of the MTV Video Music Awards were over, well, they were just getting started! Hosted in Frankfurt, Germany this November 11th, the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards nominations were just announced, and we can't wait for all the excitement all over again. Sassy Rihanna leads the nominees list with six nods, while America's sweetheart Taylor Swift is right behind her with five awards up for grabs, so looks like these ladies will be tough to beat!

Just like we did with the VMAs, we're listing out the 2012 EMAs categories and nominees, as well as predicting the winners in blue font! Check 'em out below:

Best Song
Carly Rae Jepsen — "Call Me Maybe"
Rihanna (featuring Calvin Harris) — "We Found Love"
Gotye — "Somebody That I Used to Know"
Pitbull (featuring Chris Brown) — "International Love"
Fun. — "We Are Young"

We're not gonna lie: we're totally basing this prediction for Best Song on Rihanna's 2012 VMAs win! Since the singer scooped the award for Best Video for "We Found Love", we're going to assume voters love this song just as much.

Best New
Rita Ora
Fun.
One Direction
Lana Del Rey
Carly Rae Jepsen

Again, for Best New Artist at the EMAs, we're turning to this year's VMAs winners and going with One Direction. They're just so huge, we can't imagine anyone else winning!

Best Female
Rihanna
Katy Perry
Pink
Taylor Swift
Nicki Minaj

Miss Nicki Minaj did end up taking Best Female at the 2012 VMAs, sooooo once again...we're going to assume she's taking this award (although we have serious love for all those ladies!).

Best Male
Justin Bieber
Kanye West
Flo Rida
Pitbull
Jay-Z

As awesome as all these dudes are, Justin Bieber was totally robbed at this year's VMAs, and we're going with the Biebs for Best Male because, well, his European fans are CRAZY!

Best Pop
Justin Bieber
No Doubt
Katy Perry
Taylor Swift
Rihanna

Again, we're giving it to JB. He deserves a few awards this year, don't you think?

Best Live
Taylor Swift
Lady Gaga
Jay-Z and Kanye West
Green Day
Muse

Out of all these nominees, it was hard to nail down who will win Best Live Act. After careful consideration, we think Lady Gaga deserves the award because that woman is always on the road!

Best Hip Hop
Jay-Z and Kanye West
Nas
Rick Ross
Drake
Nicki Minaj

The love that people have for Nicki is infinite, and as one of the biggest stars in the world right now, we think she'll come out on top in the Best Hip Hop category!

Best Rock
Linkin Park
Green Day
Muse
Killers
Coldplay

Now, it was hard to choose from these hard rockin' dudes for the Best Rock award, but we think that Linkin Park might take this one. It's a close race — everybody loves the rest of the nominees so much over in Europe!

Best Electronic
David Guetta
Swedish House Mafia
Avicii
Skrillex
Calvin Harris

You may not have heard of Avicii before, and honestly, we're not that familiar with the DJ, but after careful research, this dude is HUGE. Using the same Etta James sample as Flo Rida for "Good Feeling", Avicii's "Levels" is one of the most popular electronic songs out there, so we think he's got a chance at winning against all the other big names in this category.

Best Alternative
Jack White
The Black Keys
Arctic Monkeys
Florence and the Machine
Lana Del Rey

This is an easy win for Florence! Everybody has got so much love for her lyrics, so we think she'll nab this award over all the other nominees.

Best Video
M.I.A. — "Bad Girls"
Lady Gaga — "Marry the Night"
Katy Perry — "Wide Awake"
Rihanna (featuring Calvin Harris) — "We Found Love"
PSY — "Gangnam Style"

As much as we would LOVE newcomer PSY's "Gangnam Style" to win, he's just a little too new in the game to claim enough votes. So, we're going to assume miss Rihanna will pull another win with her hardcore music vid for "We Found Love".

Biggest Fans
Justin Bieber
One Direction
Lady Gaga
Rihanna
Katy Perry

We have to admit: all of these artists have gigantic fan followings between them. From Gaga's Little Monsters to Bieber's Beliebers, the power of the music fan is greater than ever these days. But we doubt there is any more powerful fan base than the Directioners, aka One Direction's following. We predict they'll take home the award easily.
