The Coachella 2014 Lineup: 10 Artists We're Dying To See Live

We can't believe these 10 acts have been confirmed for Coachella!

It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's 2014, and the lineup for the infamous music festival Coachella has finally been announced. Taking place this April, Coachella is kicking off its 14th year as one of the world's most buzzed-about festivals ever. As per usual, they released the show poster for the two-weekend fest on their website, which made the Internet freak out in utter excitement. Sure, a music festival may be expensive, hot, sweaty, and just plain exhausting, but when it comes to seeing some of pop's biggest acts around, we'll go through just about anything.

But which acts are we literally dying to check out at Coachella 2014? We're going from 10 to 1, so check 'em out with us and let us know which artists you'd give everything to see live:

10. The Knife

Why we want to see them: The Knife is one of everybody's cult-favorite indie-pop-rock bands, and their latest album Shaking The Habitual topped dozens of best-of lists in 2013. Weird and loving it, the strange duo's live show is probably creepy, yet amazing.

What song we hope they play: "A Tooth For An Eye"

9. Muse

Why we want to see them: Muse have been relatively quiet on the music front these days, so the only reason we can assume behind their headline spot at Coachella is a new album on the way. But we'd love to hear the hits from the threesome as well...just sayin'.

What song we hope they play: "Supermassive Black Hole"

8. Ellie Goulding

Why we want to see her: We remember watching Ellie Goulding at Coachella 2011, back when she was just making it big on the music scene. Now, it's close to three years later, and she's a bonafide superstar! We can't wait to see what Ellie will do with a bigger stage.

What song we hope she plays: "Burn"

7. Arcade Fire

Why we want to see them: With their latest album Reflektor giving the Canadian sextet a whole new disco-inspired look and sound, Arcade Fire are sure to make 2014 their year. A massive support tour is scheduled for the band, and with a Coachella slot, you know everybody will be watching that set.

What song we hope they play: "You Already Know"

Why we want to see them: Name one person who hasn't grooved to a HAIM song recently! This band of sisters is slowly but surely making a name for themselves on the pop music radar, and we're definite fans of their 80s-inspired cool & collected rock n' roll.

What song we hope they play: "My Song 5"

5. Queens Of The Stone Age

Why we want to see them: It's no secret that we love alt-rockers QOTSA. The band had a huge year in 2013 with the release of their stunning album ...Like Clockwork, and even though we must admit we've seen them live a few times, once more at Coachella wouldn't hurt.

What song we hope they play: "I Sat By The Ocean"

4. Lorde

Why we want to see her: As 2013's biggest hype-pop-star, there wasn't a moment where you turned a corner and "Royals" wasn't playing by New Zealand native Lorde. This is probably one of her biggest gigs ever -- safe for The GRAMMYs in a couple weeks -- and we bet loads of people will be watching her not only at the fest itself, but online via Coachella's livestream.

What song we hope she plays: "Buzzcut Season"

3. Beck

Why we want to see him: Legendary singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Beck was actually at the very first Coachella gig, back in 1999 when it started. It's 15 years later, and the mysterious performer is back with some very intriguing music, and we can't wait to see it live.

What song we hope he plays: "Defriended"

2. Lana Del Rey

Why we want to see her: Lana Del Rey, aka one of our favorite tormented pop stars, has been hush-hush about her new music for the most part pretty much throughout all of 2013. Now that a new year is upon us, and LDR has a high-profile slot at Coachella, she'll most likely be making her debut of fresh new tracks for us crazy-obsessed fans.

What song we hope she plays: "Queen Of Disaster"

1. Outkast

Why we want to see them: Um, Outkast are REUNITING to play Coachella! Did you know that the fest is famous for bringing back artists who haven't played together in forever? The "Hey Ya" hit makers were rumored to be headlining Coachella as soon as the early bird tickets for the event were released, and here we are -- the rumors are true!

What song we hope they play: "Roses"

The 2014 Coachella Music And Arts Festival goes down April 11-13, followed by April 18-20. Which act do you want to see the most?
