Top 3 Disco Jams Inspired By Live in NYC

Remember when we featured our three favorite psychedelic rock tunes on the blog? That's because February was psych-rock month on Last.Fm Presents, and for the month of March, it's all about — you guessed it — disco!

A week from today (Friday March 23rd), Last.Fm Presents is hosting a disco-tinged event at a Brooklyn bowling alley (!!!) with funky artists Escort plus label and crew DFA will provide DJ sets before and after Escort's set. If you live in the NYC area, you won't want to miss it! More information on the show is over at Last.FM Present's website.

Since it's disco month, we thought we'd dig around and highlight our favorite danceable tunes from the 70s! Here they are:

3. Michael Jackson — Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough

"Keep on with the force, don't stop / Don't stop 'til you get enough / Keep on"

2. Donna Summer — Last Dance

"Last dance, last chance for love / Yes, it's my last chance / For romance tonight / I need you by me"

1. The Bee Gees — Staylin' Alive

"Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother / You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive / Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin' / Stayin' alive, stayin' alive"
