We're Off To The Races With Lana Del Rey For The Kentucky Derby!

It's amazing that so much fanfare and anticipation centers around an event that only goes on for about 2 minutes. What are we talking about? The Kentucky Derby of course!

It's amazing that so much fanfare and anticipation centers around an event that only goes on for about 2 minutes. What are we talking about? The Kentucky Derby of course! Every year, horse racing fans convene at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky to watch "The Most Exciting Two Minutes In Sports," show off their fanciest hats, and attend lavish garden parties.

In honor of this yearly event, what song would be more fitting for Lyric of the Week than Lana Del Rey's "Off To The Races"? The song might actually be about an off-her-rocker girl and her boyfriend, Bonnie and Clyde style, but the name was just too good to pass up. Here's our Lyric of the Week:

"And we're off to the races, places / Ready set, the gate is down / And now we're going in / to Las Vegas, chaos, casino oasis"

Will you be tuning into the race? Tell us about it in the comments!
