Norah Jones is both a songwriter and a performer, born with the real name of Geethali Norah Jones Shankar. Jones was born in 1979, in the 30th of March in Brooklyn New York, with her parents being Sue Jones and Ravi Shankar, a sitar maestro. Norah’s career started in the year 2002, with her debut album entitled “Come Away With Me”, which was a combination of jazz, country, soul, and folk music. Norah lived with her mother during her childhood years in Texas. She went to Colleyville Middle School, then, transferred to Grapevine High School, after which she went to Booker T.
