i was very skeptical about this album when i first heard they were going more classic rock inspired, but it was definitely worth buying. this album definitely shows that the boys have matured, and didn't want to become just another upbeat emo/alternative band. they took their already creative lyrics to the next level and combined them with, what sounds like an almost circus inspired orchestra, and created some of the most catchy and entertaining songs i think i've ever heard. i'm looking forward to seeing them this year at the Honda Civic Tour ! |

i seriously love this album. i think its still classic Panic!, like with the kinda confusing lyrics, just kinda different sounding. the first album was more emo and angry; this ones happier :D and i love how ryan sings in alot of the songs. |

I don't think you can even compare the two albums. They're both amazing in their own way. personally, I love both of them for different reasons, but at the same time, it's still Panic At The Disco. My fav. songs were She Had the World, and Northern Downpour. |

Comparing 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' and 'Pretty. Odd.' is kind of ridiculous. They're not the same genre; they've grown up. You can't put a rating on greatness, but I did anyway. Five stars. I loved 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' and love 'Pretty. Odd.' equally; but it just depends on your tastes. It all depends on your own personal preferences. The only songs that ever got me to jump up and dance were the ones on 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out', but the only songs that got me to cry were the ones on 'Pretty. Odd.', Northern Downpour in particular... |

In my opinion it's not half as good as A Fever You Can't Sweat Out which had a much faster pace and feel to it, i liked the lyrics better in the first one and I thought it was a lot more fun, fav song off the 1st: "There's A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey. You Just Haven't Thought Of It Yet" off the 2nd: "She's a Handsome Woman" |

Personally, I think this album is better than the first because it shows they know exactly what they want and how to get their. Plus, it shows how mature they have gotten. Though, I will certainly miss dancing to their old songs, but I love the catchiness of the new creative tunes that will one day be famous. |

this was such a let down. A feaver you can't sweat out was amazing wich was why I was so quick to get this one. they've managed to cram in the beatles, a comic strip backing song, an old radio, a folk song and god knows what else.Sure they did prove they can do all kinds of music but it's nowhere near as good as their old stuff and not nearly as catchy. |

I LOVE this album so much it really shows everyone who they really are... and how different they are from all other bands... and in general how completely awesome they are...ryan is an amazing lyricist and some of the lyrics are so deep and wonderful but others are simple and clever and there is a good mixture of both... i love ryans voice and i'm so glad he sang on this album... on the dvd they showed him fighting to sing more and it seems like he got his chance on a lot of the songs and thats great...every single song on this album is awesome... but my favorites are she had the world, northern downpour, mad as rabbits but as i make this list i want to add so many more i think i would end up adding the entire album.... i love how brendon added his own twist w/ folkin' around and i have friends in holy spaces... they really show his personality and have great writing and great music that are really different and cool.... each song is so different from the other and that makes this album so interesting and on a whole new level than the first one... i am glad to say that Panic at the Disco is my favorite band and one of the greatest bands ever.... |

I think this album does sound like the beetles, but its still really awsome. Panic has grown alot a this album is very different from AFUCSO. Ryan still has amazing lyrics and this time he even sings behind the sea. Mad as rabbits is a really good song...I love how both brendon and ryan sings in it. Northern Downpour is another really good song with alot of meaning in it, I heard that its one of ryan's favorite songs on this album too. PATD may have a completly different sound now but I still love them and I always will... lol |

i think is a great album, they showed everybody how much they know about music composition and ryan showed that he can write simple lyrics as well as complex ones and yes, of course it sounds a little like the beatles, they are their biggest influence! but pretty. odd. has country music too and a little of blues too.. i think that, with this record, they proved that they can do any kind of music they want and it will still sound good and the fact that this is so different from the other record is a positive thing, it means that they have grown, in a personal and a musical level, if it was a copy of fever then it would be bored, for them, to write the same kind of songs again and again and for us.. everybody changes style and stuff like that but the good music is still there, it's still them playing those songs, the talent you know... but whatever, i think it's, musically, an incredible record and i would dance around my house in my pijamas and singing along with it! ![]() |

I'm really disappointed! I love Panic but I feel like the band copied the style of The Beatles. This is not original at all, and a complete departure from A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. |

this shows a different side to them. i believe that there are numerous people who will hate this album and say they changed. in reality you see that it takes maturity to listen to these lyrics and interprete the meaning that they have. i lurv it! |
