Michael Jackson's music producer Quincy Jones will not attend the star's funeral

Michael Jackson's music producer Quincy Jones has said he will not attend the star's funeral.


Michael, who passed away aged 50 after suffering a reported heart attack, worked with Quincy, 76, on some of his top albums such as Thriller, Off The Wall and Bad.


The producer has now flown to Amsterdam to grieve in private and he said: "I've lost my little brother and part of my soul has gone with him.


"I won't go to any more funerals as long as I live.


"After Ray Charles and Marvin Gaye, I've had enough of funerals."

Quincy Jones has said that Michael Jackson's pet chimp Bubbles bit "a hole" in his daughter's hand - when she was a little girl.


The music man who worked with the late singer on Thriller said the chimp bit his daughter Rashida Jones, who is now a 33-year-old actress.


"She [Rashida] was a little girl. And Bubbles bit her hand. Michael used to bring Muscles [his pet snake] and Bubbles by the house all the time."


The producer, 76, also revealed his thoughts about the changes in Jackson's appearance over the years.
