Prince, D'Angelo Pair Up

D'Angelo's first disc since 2000—reportedly due out this summer through J Records—is expected to include contributions from none other than Prince. John Legend has tapped Raphael Saadiq for the first leg of his worldwide tour behind Evolver, a new studio album that drops on October 28 and features guest turns from Andre 3000, Estelle, Brandy and Kanye West. While his sophomore effort, the jazz-driven Kamaal the Abstract, was shelved in 2002, the MC insists he's readied another record (The Renaissance) for a fall release.
