    Reckoner is a song about a stripper. Definition Reckoner is one who counts like a woman who counts money. RH says you can not take it with you" meaning no matter how hard you work you can take money when you die. "You are not to blame for bittersweet distractor" Don't look down on these people and their profession because we as a society put them there and let them strive in that environment! "Dare not speak its name" meaning you dare not say her true name. They dance for anybody who walks through that door so they are dedicated to all human beings.

    These lyrics are incorrect. The Official release of In Rainbows Song Book says "Dancing for your pleasure" and

    "We separate like ripples on a blank shore"


    Can someone please fix this?

    No dude ioar12 is right. he wasnt making suggestions for the lyrics he was correcting mistakes that were made when the lyrics were uploaded. if you have a copy of in rainbows check the booklet. "dancing for your pleasure" and "like ripples on a blank shore" are the correct lyrics.

    No man ioar12 wasnt making suggestions to the lyrics they were simply correcting them. if you have a cd copy of in rainbows check the booklet you will see that it is "dancing for your pleasure" and "like ripples on a blank shore."

    there is actual a need to change the lyrics that are posted on this website because they are wrong. and ioar12 has posted the corrections. check the booklet for in rainbows.

    Reckoner means "to count" we all have this desire...RH says disavor this pleasure...as you cannot take it with you...the whole "dancing for your pleasure" completely loses the meaning of the song from this perspective

    "Disavow your pleasure" should be "dancing for your pleasure" and "it ripples our reflections" should be "like ripples on a blank shore".
