did you know, that this song describes her life? well... before.
yeah. she grew up with 5 brothers and sisters and had only a mom. she got a lot of beatings, it even says so in the song "to stop the pain from the beatings" she started ****s at age 10, which that says it in there too. she moved in with her grandmother and she started concidering suicide. thats when her grandmother took her to church and her life really changed after that. no more ****s. no more beatings.

I almost killed myself last year...and my girlfriend convinced me...she was my truth...I get these lyrics...last year....this was my favorite song at that point in time...so yeah...she really saved my life...ODing is no the way to go...suicide is selfish...and anyone who thinks otherwise should realize that...I did....and I'm all better now...

i agree with you...but suicide isnt selfish. not most of the time anyway.
i tried to **** my self twice last year, once because everything got way too much and i should be dead right now....the second time was because i thought i was selfish, because of the first time and thought i wasnt worth being on the earth if i was selfish.
Basically what im saying is dont call someone selfish the minute they try to **** themself. it only makes things 1000 times worse.

I love this song, it is really haunting... In kinda makes me think about myself once and a while.... The emotion behind the words I can totally understand... Sometimes this song makes me think about this guy I know..... I kinda feel this way around him

you have no rite to even go there. anyone can go through the suicide thing, and even if they are emo you have no rite to say anything at all cuz thats none of ur business! personally i love the song. ive been through the 'thinking suicide' my self and thank god i was talked out of it. i love flyleaf abd this song
