  Not a bad song musically, but the lyrics are terrible.
  
  Child abuse is a problem, but this song is a melodramatic and unrealistic celebration of child abuse. The only people who will pretend to connect with the content in this song are attention-whoring teens who claim their parents or a friend's parents are abusive (tough luck if make you clean your room).
  
  It's a shame that they didn't focus on the realistic, subtle abuse that occurs more frequently. Instead, the truly abused are ignored in favor of hollywood style sob stories.

  so? whats your point? what u mean by sayin that the song does not talk about "realistic: child abuse, the situations in the song are pretty common and painful, thats my opinion ans i say it to not just defend the song. Im not trying to argue i just want to know why u think like that, and that way i will comprehend your point of u

  THIS SONG IS AMAZING!!!! it's kinda sad, cuz i kno how some of those kids would've felt in a situation like that. i've run away twice in 3 months, and my mom is on drugs, but doesn't know i know. and she's also abusive.

  Hey, I'll be your friend. My name is Breigh ( Pronounced Bree) . I totaly know what you mean. When I was small, as in 9, my mom and step dad were doing ****s and drank. I was physically abused, along with my sister whho was sexually abused. I was taken from my family when i was nine because of ****s, alchohal, filthy home and abuse towards my sister and I. I'll run away with you.
