Santigold Recruits Full Band For Spring Tour

Santigold has announced a spring tour that gets started on May 21 in San Francisco and winds down on June 21 at KCRW's World Festival Series in Hollywood. She'll also appear at Miami's Ultra Music Festival tonight and Roxy's Chicken Jam in Mammoth, CA, tomorrow. Trouble Andrew and Amanda Blank are both confirmed as openers for Santi's official tour, .....

The Roots have announced the complete lineup of their second-annual "Roots Picnic." Set to hit Philadelphia's Festival Pier on June 6, the all-day affair (from 2-11 p.m.) will feature DJ sets by Cash Money and Jazzy Jeff and live performances by The Black Keys, Santigold, TV on the Radio and Public Enemy, who'll perform their classic It Takes a Nation .....

The pair will hit Europe throughout November, beginning with a stop in Belfast on November 8 and winding down in Rotterdam on November 26. Santogold has been confirmed as the opening act on a handful of Coldplay's North American dates, including stops in Chicago, Boston, and her former hometown of Philadelphia.
