It IS "She waved" - watch them live on Youtube you will see numerous times when he sings that part he waves to the audience. I have also heard it's printed "She waved" inside the CD cover lyrics. The song is written to his parents who both died about his dream of being a singer. It's an awesome song

It's not "she waved" it is "Shooting" every single lyric site says she waved but that is not right and no one has corrected it yet. That doesn't even make sense, why would a comet wave? Someone needs to change this to "shooting"

I thought that this song might be about one of the guys who ****ed himself thinking the comet was there second chance. I can't remember the details of the m**** suicide but i think it was in the San Diego area, they where wearing all black... I da no?? In my mind I was hoping that maybe a note was left by one of them for his folks to better understand. Regardless, I enjoy the song. makes me a little sad but it's a good song nonetheless!
