Singer Katy Perry has revealed she is basing her new tour stage on her album cover

Singer Katy Perry has revealed she is basing her new tour stage on her album cover.

The 24-year-old star, who recently performed at the Capital Summertime Ball in London, is in the middle of her Hello Katy world tour and will soon be hitting the UK for a number of gigs before taking the tour around Europe.

Katy revealed the stage will be based on the cover of her album One of the Boys.

She said: "I've designed the stage so it's a garden, so there will be a white picket pence and an area with pretend flowers.

"And at one side of the stage, there are going to be two six-feet-high plastic flamingos that will be covered in pink feathers."
