Funeral arrangements can get underway for Michael Jackson after his body was released by the coroner to his family.

The King Of Pop's remains were removed from the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office on Friday night and taken to an undisclosed location in a van.

Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner, Ed Winter, said: "Mr Michael Jackson's remains have been removed from the coroner's office.

"The body is at an undisclosed location at the family's request.

"I can not discuss the location and we ask that you respect the family's wishes.

"I spent most of the day with the family, they are very concerned and trying to get through their mourning process.
