I loved how she sang this song. She looked really sad. Well, sooner or later, the man will realize who is the one for him.

I went through this with my now boyfriend/fiance about 7 months ago. He was with this other girl, and I knew she wasn't good for him. She was cheating on him, and I was the one who was always there for him. He finally realized this, broke up with her, and him and I are not dating. I couldn't be happier. This song got me through that time in my life. I LOVE this song, and me playing this song for him, helped him realize how much he meant to me. So, in a way, this song made my relationship possible.

This song is the story of my life for the past 3 months. I met and fell in love with a married man who was "separated", but I know his marriage is not over and his heart is still there. He finally did me the favor of breaking up with me the other day because he can't handle being in a relationship while his life is falling apart. Although I am devestated, I know I deserve better than this. I loved him very much and still care about him.

How can any of you get on this site and say this song is beautiful or brag about being a homewrecker in the same situation? It's women like her that are stupid enough to believe a man's lies that make a mockery of marriage. Any man can be separated or divorced and still care for his children. Get Real.

Because man or woman some are just not willing to lose that precious time with their kids and if they dont have children, lose everything they have worked so hard for!! Thats not called excuses its called reality! This situation is NOT as black and white (leave or stay) as you say it is!

There are no winners in this situation. Only pain, guilt and sorrow for all, including the innocents-the children, who are unwillingly involved in something not of their choosing. When the choice is made to go down that path, there may be joy in the moment; but in the long run there is pain and sadness, sorrow and guilt, and trust is lost forever.

This song also has been the representation of my life for the past seven months.We were friend,but gave into feelings that we both could not deny. He has a loveless marriage. She stays for the money. Only reason he stays is his two boys. The youngest being three. I too have not reached the point of telling him to forget it. I love him very much and it is hard. I never imagined I would ever be in a relationship like this.

this song is a representation of the past 2 years of my life.. however, i was the main woman having to "accept" being left and cheated on... mental and emotional abuse is as serious and harmful as physical abuse... no matter what "he" says, please, move on, its not fair to either woman...this song is empowering...
