i vote d and the lyrics on the other songs are kinda crappy. in the 80's, they were easily popping out 9 minute masterpieces, but now and in the 90's(not black, justload/reload) they're trying as hard as possible and after months of trying, they get a 4 minute piece of crap, or a kinda good 5 minute song at best

If you think about it, all the older Metallica albums had an instrumental. The "black album" forward contained no instrumental, but at least one ballad. This is a true testament that they have moved forward musically, as they've in some way incorporated both on this album. Bravo guys...and welcome to the R&R Hall of Fame..

Do you think the guys either A. Didn't have enough time to get lyrics ready? B. Couldn't come up with a set of lyrics at all? C. Made the music first and none of their lyrics would fit or D. Just truly wanted to be musically creative and let the sounds of the music tell the story? Pls Vote!
