    i just love this song though it makes me sad listening to it. It reminds me of death and the promise of heaven in life after which is very re****uring.

    i think this song is sad too. when you think of heaven, death's there to. And would you know/remember anyone/anything when your dead, but i love this song and always will

    This song is absolutely beautiful to listen to. It was written as a tribute to Clapton's 4yr old son who died from falling out of his mother's appartment window on the 53rd story.(wiki) It's sweet and simple, and there's no reason it shouldn't be considered one of the best songs ever written.
