	It's really beautiful and deeply moving song. I didn't understand it well but I got it right when I visited this site, it's about katrina, no doubt. But I still don't know one thing.Who is that "you" in this song? "The little things give YOU away. But who exactly?

	It is a really relaxing song. And deeply moving I think. Actually I'm not from the States so I can't truly understand this thing with Bush, but each nation has it's own problems, so this song can mean different things for ppl from different countries.

	its talking about huirricane katrina. i have the cd and it has the lyrics with a little note next to it and it says about how they went down and saw the people when they wrote it. and when you think about it it makes sense.

	I don't think it's a reference to Bush. To me it's a reference to drowning. Not physically drowning, but metaphorically drowning. Also the first verse would tie in with this. And "The Little Things Give You Away" to me is him saying that in other words "I can see that you don't really love me". To me the whole song is about someone realising or saying they know that someone else doesn't love them, as they say they do.

	Hi, First I've got to say that I simply love this song..But there's a little part that I couldn't understand.Guess you guys can help.I'm not English or American so I can't speak this language well excuse me for the mistakes (: "The little things give you away" What is this supposed to mean ? Something like "all the little mistakes or wheeling and dealings you made are showing your personality" ? Please don't make fun of me.An answer is all i need ? Thanks

	Mike once said that if you listen to the songs in CD order it means something, and coded into the songs is a person's troubled life. As for the song, it remains a favourite because it is less of a rock song and more of a classic song meant to express loss and the despair after being tossed away like an annoying scab.

	This song is simply beautiful. I mean its just an amazing song and just another way linkin park shows their true colors. I remember before i listened to them, I thought they were just another rock band into violence and alcohol like everyone else, but when i listened to them i started to realize... hey, their lyrics are clean, they barely cuss, and most of these songs actually have a good meaning. LP congratulations on being an amazing band with a great sound, and also giving a great perspective on the world around us!

	ok, its obvious this is about the Katrina incident and our nations response to it. lI will now break it down for any simple minded cretin following this post. 'Don't want to reach for me do you? I mean nothing to you The Little Things Give You Away And now there will be no mistaking The levees are breaking All you've ever wanted Was someone to truly look up to you And six feet under water I do" The chorus symbolizes Bush's reaction to Katrina. In the beginning of the chorus, Chester speaks as a victim of Katrina as if saying to bush: "Don't want to reach for me do you? I mean nothing to you" the middle of the chorus is self explanatory and the end of the chorus is about the bands opinion of what bush had always wanted during his presidency/life: "All you've ever wanted Was someone to truly look up to you" and the last lines are Chester speaking as a Katrina victim again "And six feet under water I do" The only other part of the song that isn't chorus is pretty easy to determine the meaning of: "Hope decays Generations disappear Washed away As a nation simply stares" Bush's delayed evacuation of new orleans. Hopefully my interpretation was in sync with the rest of the majority’s views. As for Emo Prince, Ignorance is never a good foundation and is easily destroyed by knowledge and common sense.

	ok, i can't believe u ppl were actually debating over this. it's MOST DEFINITELY about katrina. when i first heard the song, even b4 reading the CD booklet's description thingy, i knew it was about katrina. PROOF: "the levees are breaking" New Orleans sucky levees no doubt. what would levees have to do w/ his gf? o.0 "generations disappear/ washed away/ as a nation simply stares" obviously about the lack attention the government gave to katrina. and it IS "chilling rain". rain cuz of the hurricane. "like an ocean" cuz of the large amount of rain and flooding. "chilling me"? wtf? this song is so obviously about katrina there's no denying it, unless ur a real stonehead idiot.
