i think that the best part about LP songs are that they are so #!@%*# real. Just listening to it u can visualize the whole situation that is going on. Like numb, this song truly touched me. the best part of the song was" all u have ever wanted was someone to truly look upto u and six feet under water i do"(very clever idea of showing both helpness and resentment)

personally i believe the person "you" described as you is Gerorge W, you just watched instead of doing something, he didnt care about that demographic, that song was political no denying it

Personally I think this song is the most moving piece of music I've ever heard. I also think that this song is about Someone that linkin park lost in Hurricane Katrina. So that would be the "you" in the song.

This is Linkin's best song ever. I love this song. I was effected by Katrina and it tell a story for us. In a really rock'n'roll way. Love it.

First, I just wanna give props to Linkin Park. At first I thought them all loud and all they sung about were ****s, alcohol and ummm... you know what I mean. But they are very good. Kudos to them.

Sorry, wrong click. Anyway, don't think me wierd, but at first I thought this was a large boat accident, but after a while it came to me as Katrina because of the "rain" part. It is a relaxing, but touching song, and shows how much LP cares for people, especially their charity work. Excellent song! (btw, the asterisks are d. r. u. g. s, but it is bleeped out, and I don't know why.)

I think it refers to the american people in general saying we don't care until some like Katrina happens and now that some thing happens we finaly notice them, it could be refering to the gov. but I have a stronger felling it refers to the american people at least that's how the song speaks to me.

if only you knew, or maybe understand..... this is all about something most of us don't know!! about the conflict between God and Satan! think about it! is a song-message from the devil, writing as a dead person (posible on the katrina or another water related with nature accident) telling God, he doesn't care about him/her (the person) even the part "The little things give you away" meaning that tiny things are nothing for him (God) meaning tiny or little as the humanity!! I don't mind if you don't believe me but, it's true!!
