The Radiance Lyrics

Linkin Park

We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent.
I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita. [ From: http://www.metrolyrics.com/the-radiance-lyrics-linkin-park.html ] Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty, And to impress him, takes on his multi-armed form and says, "Now I have become Death, the destroyer of worlds."
I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.

Tell Us What These Lyrics Mean To You...

Fakir perhaps didn't understand the theme of the album..."A thousand suns" itself quoted from Gita, piece a live description of nuclear explosion at the time of Trinity Test (exactly same description at the time of Kurukshetra, may be alien gods came that time). "Jornada Del Muerto" was the venue(a in new mexico). The album can be thought as "the messenger" about the journey to the apocalypse wnich we have started from time time of nuke era (ww2) . We can only hope "God save us everyone when we burn inside the fires of a thousand suns for the SINS of our father, the SINS of our young".

@Fakir If you watch the video of "what i have done" you get the same message.

I like LP, but these words have a little to do with the band, they are much more then that. check on youtube J. Robert Oppenheimer, "I am become death, the destroyer of worlds."
