Shes upset
Bad day
Heads for the dresser drawer to
Drive her pain away
Nothing good can come of this.
She opens it theres nothing there
Its only left over tears
Mom and dad had no right she screams
The anger runs down both of her cheeks.
Then she closed her eyes
And found relief in a knife
The blood flows as she cries
All alone the way she feels
Left alone to deal with all the pain-drenched sorrow relief
Bite the lip just forget the bleeding
Then she closed her eyes
And found relief in a knife
The blood flows as she cries [x2]
Curled up shes on the floor
Relief left her she had hoped for something more

From it (hoped for something more)
From it
He leans down to comfort her
She is weeping and He
Wraps His arms around
And around and around and...
The deeper you cut
The deeper I hurt
The deeper you cut
It only gets worse [x2]
Gets worse.
Now shes slowly opening... [x2]
New eyes...
She opened her eyes
And found relief in His life
And put down her knives.
She opened her life
And found relief through His eyes
And put down
She put down her life.

@EdwardCullenLover13: To Write Love On Her Arms is NOT a band, they are a non-profit organization that was established to raise suicide & depression awareness. 'Stop The Bleeding' is one of their popular slogans. The youtube video that that I'm sure you were referring to, by the way, is one created by the non-profit group (To Write Love On Her Arms). It wasn't released until 2008, and the original song titled "The Way She Feels" was released by the band 'Between The Trees' through Bonded Records in 2006, on their debut album entitled "The Story and the Song". You can listen to the original track, as well as other recordings by Between The Trees on 'PureVolume' (a music website) for free. To Write Love On Her Arms frequently uses this song in their advertisements, but does so ONLY with the permission of the band & original artists, Between The Trees. Also, the last line of the lyrics posted here is wrong...if you listen to the recording, the last line is "She put down her KNIFE", NOT "She put down her life". The song DOES have a happy ending, the female cutter in this scenario is 'rescued' by a male friend or possible lover that she cares about enough to stop cutting for.

To Write Love On Her Arms isn't a band. It's an organization against self injury. The band and song title are correct.
