This was the second solo single by Limahl. It wasn't a big hit but only had a modest success, barely making it to the UK Top 75. It was the second single from the debut album called DON'T SUPPOSE, released in 1984. This single came out a short time before the international smash hit "The Never Ending Story", which totally obscured any other song on the album (the first edition of which actually didn't include it). "Too Much Trouble" is not so original as "Only For Love", not so catchy as "The Never Ending Story" and not so experimental as "Tar Beach": definitely the worst of all 4 singles from Limahl's first album, but however one of his best songs on the whole. If I had the choice, I would have rated it with 3 stars and at least another half star... So now you know it!
