    I read in Wikipedia that this song was about a soldier saying goodbye to his wife, going to war. Wiki up ''Violet Hill" listen to the song one more time, you'll probably cry like I did =•]

    I love this song!!! The lyrics aren't right but whatever! You can figure them out by yourself... Favorite is "When the future's architectured by a carnival of idiots on show, you'd better lie low..." Love it!

    Metrolyrics get it right the line is 'my nerves are poles that unfroze', nothing to do with love ufolding or opposing as some people have said! Check coldplays official website if you dont beleive me.
