Michael Bolton's immitation of this song is an insult to the real Percy Sledge version, which is one of the vocal masterpieces of all time. Michael did nothing new with the song. He tried to do it just like Percy, only it's not as good. I'm sure he made a lot of money, but in terms of artistic integrity he should have left it alone.

this is a good song. last year in art, my choir teacher came in and scared the living daylights outta some of us because he started singing this at the top of his lungs! it was hilarious! its a good thing he has a good voice though! he was like "WEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN!!!" it was really funny. i was painting though. i didnt mess up thank goodness! lol!
