Sleigh bells ring, are you listening
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland
Gone away is the bluebird
Here to stay is the new bird
He sings a love song, as we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow, we can build a snowman
And pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say, "Are you married?" We'll say, "No man"
But you can do the job when you're in town
Later on, we'll conspire as we dream by the fire
To face unafraid the plans that we've made
Walking in a winter wonderland
Walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow, we can build a snowman
And pretend that he's a circus clown
We'll have lots of fun with Mr. Snowman
Until the other kids knock him down
When it snows, ain't it thrilling
Though your nose gets a chilling
We'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way
Walking in a winter wonderland
We'll sing a love song, as we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland
Oh, walking in a winter wonderland
We'll be walking in a winter wonderland

The lyrics for Winter Wonderland listed here are NOT correct. The entire intro to the song is left out, and Annie does not sing "Later on we'll conspire" twice. There is also a second verse where the snowman is a circus clown and the two will frolic and play the Eskimo way. The song begins with: "Over the ground lies a mantle of white, a halo of diamonds shining down through the night, two hearts are thrilling, in spite of the chill in the weather. Love knows no season, love knows no clime, romance can blossom, any old time. Here in the open, we're walking and hoping together". THEN into the first time through for "Sleigh bells ring, are you listening..." the verse about gone away is the bluebird, Then the verse where the snowman is Parson Brown. Later on we'll conspire, sung once, then back to "In the meadow we can build a snowman, and pretend that he's a circus clown. We'll have lots of fun with Mr. Snowman, until the other kiddies come around. When it snows, ain't it thrilling, though your nose gets to chilling? We'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way, walking in a winter wonderland. She does a bit of scatting at the end. the lyrics she sings are not unique to her version, and I believe they are a part of the original song written in 1934, although not everyone chooses to sing the intro. Some have put the intro in the middle of the song, as well. I don't know where you got the lyrics you have posted on this site for the Eurythmics version of this cl****ic song, but they are very wrong. This version of the song is one of the best out there.
